‘Sado’ (茶道, tea ceremony), ‘kado’ (華道 flower arrangement), ‘kyudo’ (弓道, Japanese archery), ‘do’ (道) is a word which represents road and also refers to the attitude of Japanese artisans going back and forth on the same road while making steady progress. Step by step, we are aiming at the highest quality.

Hado, which means the road of ‘ha’ (刃, blades). is the brand name for the knives crafted by Fukui Co & Ltd. It was the first time for Fukui to produce in-house knives in 109 years. Therefore, Hado symbolizes our resolution to walk on the road of blades in the next 100 years.
